Estimator
Job Description
As a Project Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing, planning and preparing bids for construction projects. You will estimate the cost of materials, labour and equipment required to complete the work.
Main Responsibilities
- Analyze plans, specifications and addendums to assess scope of work.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labour and equipment.
- Attend scheduled site visits to receive project-related information.
- Request quotations from subcontractors.
- Attend tender presentations
Project Assistant
Job Description
The Project Assistant works closely with the project manager and the site superintendent. You will be responsible for tracking and managing technical documents, keeping the document management software up-to-date, and following up on deliverables.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the follow-up and proper management of technical documents (data sheets, list of participants, shop drawings, purchase orders, plans and specifications, etc.).
- Follow up on contract change orders and on-site directives.
- Follow up and coordinate technical issues with professionals and subcontractors
- Update drawings and specifications on Plan Grid document management software
Project Manager
Job Description
Plan, negotiate, organize, and coordinate the execution of construction work in order to respect the schedule, plans and specifications, while respecting and optimizing the budget.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate work in compliance with contractual documents
- Carry out projects within estimated budgets
- Discuss with subcontractors, optimizing calculated budgets and awarding contracts
- Manage and respect schedules, and modify them if necessary
- Submit payment requests
Carpenter
Job Description
We need skilled, versatile carpenters to take part in various stages of construction work under the supervision of the site foreman.
Main Responsibilities
- Know how to interpret technical drawings and specifications to prepare work, select materials, plan work sequences and methods, and measure and mark materials.
- Have knowledge of industrial concrete formwork and engineered formwork systems to accurately construct concrete forms, scaffolding, trestles, tunnels, shelters, towers, deep foundations and other structures
- Erect wall, floor, roof and stair structures
- Build palisades, walls and temporary shelters
- Install siding and insulation
Labourer
Job Description
The labourer assists skilled workers, such as carpenters, cement applicators and others, by performing various tasks on the construction site.
Main Responsibilities
- Participate in general site tasks, including handling materials and tools.
- Load and unload construction materials
- Assemble and dismantle scaffolding,
- Mix and spread materials such as concrete
- Check, clean and store tools and equipment
Superintendent
Job Description
Plan, control, coordinate, direct and supervise the execution of work on a construction site.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan, control, coordinate, direct and supervise the execution of work on a construction site.
- Plan, coordinate and supervise the work of various subcontractors on the site.
- Monitor and control the progress of work and update the P3S.
- Plan and place orders for materials and equipment required for upcoming projects
- Control the quality of work carried out
